Think of a 1960’s childhood and the intense contrast colours of that era’s curtains. Think of bright floral prints and a warm Mediterranean feeling. Jackpot’s chief designer Ann Hage Thomsen has channelled these elements into a modern, light summer collection designed for the woman who has a real passion for life.
Beautifully cut, wonderfully feminine
The current babydoll-look dominates this summer’s silhouette together with shapely dresses cut below the bust. For warm summer days Jackpot offers lovely tunics with a square neckline and a Roman cut which can be dressed up with narrow jeans for work or parties. Long linen pants with pleats, long shirts, and sweet tomboy caps provide dynamic, expressive contrast with the collection’s feminine qualities. Brave contrasts are also on display in this collection’s fabric and colour combinations.
Fruity colours
Intense colours like blue, bright red and juicy green inspire thoughts of tropical skies, seas, and flowers. Fine details in gold make the clothing sparkle and combine perfectly with sun-tanned skin. For a lighter look, colours readily combine with white, delicate pink, and beige nuances.
Light and rich in detail
Light and comfortable fabrics such as viscose, silk, linen, and chiffon are a feature of the season’s dresses, tops, and blouses. English embroidery is also a vital trend. Transparent fabrics lighten the strong colours, while denim offers are raw, earthy contrast used in ballerina shoes and accessories. Many small details like fabric-covered buttons, lace trims, and embroidery make the collection beautiful and summery.
