Fisher Price Recalls 2010.

Yes,  Fisher Price has recalled more than 10 million toys after concerns that the toys were not safe. 10 Million Toys Recalled is quite huge and included in the recall are:

• trikes with the character "Dora the Explorer" on the frame of the bike.
• Healthy Care, Easy Clean and Close to Me High Chairs.

The trikes have caused injuries to some children who fell as they ride the bike. There are also reports of children hitting themselves on the peg of the high chairs. Thus Fisher Price recalls their toys to ensure the safety of their consumers.

Leo Apotheker new HP CEO

HP has named a new CEO. However, this is surprising, because HP did not get the man from within HP, but instead got Leo Apotheker as CEO. Leo Apotheker was the former CEO of SAP until February this year when he resigned from SAP because the company did not renew his contract.

Jules' Undersea Lodge at Key Largo Florida is located 30 feet deep on the ocean floor. It is an underwater hotel/lodge, the first of it's kind probably. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath retreat. There is only one way to get to Jule's Undesea Lodge of course and that is to go scuba diving.

My view at 6:30am

Early morning is one of my favorite times with Toby. He's super mellow and talk-y, and we "chitchat" about lots of fascinating things while he plays in his crib. When Toby was first born, I was so anxious that I was doing everything right (he was so teeny), but these days I'm thankfully settling in, feeling more confident and just enjoying his awesome company. Oh, Toby, I adore you and your Jack Nicholson eyebrows!

Laughter yoga

Have you guys heard of laughter yoga? Indian physician Madan Lal Kataria encourages people to get together in small groups and start fake laughing; after a while, he says, the laughter will become genuine and euphoric. Dr. Kataria believes that laughter can cure physical and psychological ailments. It sounds nutty, but my friend Scott recently tried it with a group of friends and said it was surprisingly awesome. Would you give it a shot?

Whoa! Our girl Jordan just hosted a four-course dinner party on a beach underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. It must have felt so magical to be eating parsnip soup in the cool breeze beneath the twinkling lights.

Blackberry Playbook: A Video At Last!

The Blackberry Playbook will be set for release next year 2011.  That's just a few more months from now. This new tablet is equipped with a special 7″ hi-resolution display. It is so thin about less than half an inch and weighs under a pound. It also has advanced dual HD cameras, supports 1080p HD recording and USB.  And what's more cool about this new tablet, it’s completely Flash-friendly (Source: digitalbuzzblog. com).  As for the price, let us just hope it's not too expensive like the iPad! So yes, welcome Blackberry Playbook! I hope to get you someday!

 

Mariah Carey Slipped On Stage Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix (VIDEO)

 Mariah Carey slipped on the stage during her performance at the Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix Sunday, September 26, 2010.  Mariah was so full of life singing when all of the sudden the unexpected accident happened, perhaps due to her high heels. Thanks to her back up dancers who immediately rushed to her rescue and helped her get up. Mariah then asked her stylish "Blair" to remove her shoes, while she was singing. Mariah Carey continued with the performance and even commented later on that she did that on purpose, which I highly doubt though.

Anyways, some critiques disliked how Mariah commanded/requested her stylist to remove her shoes on stage. To some it was just not nice for Mariah to do, when she can do it herself or perhaps later on at the back stage. Anyhow, watch Mariah Carey Slipped on Stage Video below.

JUSTIN BIEBER WILL BE ON GLEE

This is the latest news right now that the famous Justin Bieber will be guesting on Glee. If the plans push through, Justin Bieber might have a duet with Charice Pempengco of the Philippines. Charice Pempengco stunned the audience watching the premiere as she sing the song of Beyonce Knowles. Charice Pempengco and Justin Bieber will be very good to be together on Glee. But that is still news and lets just wait that it will happen.

JENNY MCCARTHY HAS A HAIRY DOWN UNDER

Jenny McCarthy was guest on the Oprah show and talked about her first pictorial for playboy magazine. Jenny McCarthy has a very hairy down under. Staffs and photographers were surprise to see a very hairy vagina area. Jenny McCarthy was telling her store to the show and audience were laughing when Jenny McCarthy was telling her story on the first shoot for Playboy Magazine. But that was in the past and Jenny McCarthy still remembers it.

Ayodhya Verdict Latest News

What is the latest in the Ayodhya Title Suit? We are about to find out as the Ayodhya case will soon come to its conclusion with the passing of judgment.

It's been 60 years since the Ayodhya Title suit went to court. The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court comprising Justice S U Khan, Justice Sudhir Agarwal and Justice D V Sharma, have started proceedings to pronounce the judgement.  The Ayodhya verdict will settle the dispute over 2.7 acres of land in Ayodhya. I will update more on this later. Hopefully I can get a full copy of the Ayodhya judgment/ Ayodhya decision.

Tony Curtis is Dead!

Tony Curtis passed away at the age of 85 this Wednesday due to a cardiac arrest. Tony suffered from a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Tony Curtis was nominated for an Oscar for his role in "The Defiant Ones". 

My condolences to the family, friends and fans. I can still remember Tony in "Spartacus". May his soul rest in peace!

Delhi’s Eye on Satya Paul

As part of a series of spectacular events to commemorate 25 years of spearheading, cutting edge design, contemporary graphics, unusual colour play and modernity to the traditional sari, Satya Paul hosted a fashion show to mark the opening of the Delhi Eye, a new venture with IZara entertainment initiated by Mr. Syed Salim in partnership with Mr. Henk Roodenberg (Dutch Wheels).

The lights dimmed to Mansi Scott’s magical voice enthralling her audience. She was accompanied by Raghav Sachar, the talented musician who has mastered 24 individual instruments.

It was a fashion show with a difference. Live performances accompanied the fashion models who showcased stunning saris, lehengas, churidaar ensembles and dresses from an assortment of collections. Satya Paul’s signature stylized blouses, stole the limelight once again. Malaika Arora Khan made a stunning show stopper, draped in a colorful sari enhanced by the exquisite jewellery from the house of Rose..

“It was a pleasure to walk the ramp for Satya Paul. The collection showcased was stunning with vibrant colours and intricate designs, celebrating Satya Paul’s journey of 25 years.” Said, Malaika Arora Khan.

Chic in camel...

Damn you, KTM!!!

My relationship with KTM has always been based on hatred. You see, we go wayyyyy back...I have been on the train where it broke down halfway and I had to walk on the rail track to reach another station. I've also been made to wait for the train for more than an hour due to multiple delays. Besides, I have been on the train where it broke down at one station and I had to take the taxi to reach my destination. I was also in a train before without any air cond and it was during rush hour where everyone's stepping on each other and gasping for air. Further, I have been stalked in a station before. I was also been pushed and molested during peak hours where everyone's rushing to get into the train. Finally, the most recent one would have to be falling down while all the chaotic pushing happened during rush hour!!

So, it all started when I was in KL Sentral going to take the KTM to go back at 6.50pm. The board stated that there would be a shuttle train with limited stops to Klang at 6.51pm. However, that shuttle train was cancelled that evening. So, the next train to Pelabuhan Klang will be at 7.06pm. Fine, so I waited with the growing crowd! Then another announcement was made saying there has been a delay and the train will only arrive at 7.15pm. Everyone was starting to get agitated already. When it was 7.15pm the board showed that the train will only arrive at 7.21pm...seriously, WTF!!!

So the train arrived and there was much pushings, shoutings and crammings due to the people inside the train wanting to come out but the people outside are too eager to get a place in the train. Okay, I have no control of how I got my place in the train because the people beside me pushed me and the people behind me pushed me and somehow I got into the train LOL

After surviving two stops, this is where it all happened. This is a station where quite many will go down. I was near the door so I stepped out for the people to go out. But they were all soooo ganas(I think worst than animals) they pushed and pushed and somehow I fell down. Not only did I fall but my left leg was stucked in between the gap of the train and the platform! I thought that's it, my leg is broken!!

Now, I was in the ladies coach and none of the ladies even helped me up. Only one was heard saying 'OMG, faster get up or else the door will close and your leg will get stucked!' In fact, someone was still rushing after it all happened and fell straight on me -.- Her slipper flew to me too!! XD Seriously??

Luckily, I managed to get up but I saw a huge mark on my thigh and felt like needles being pocked into my thigh. I walked inside and I squatted out of pain. Some ladies were saying to the people sitting to give me a seat. But I saw nobody got up. Two ladies just asked whether do I want to sit down. I was thinking I'm fine and since they didn't get up might as well they just continue sitting.

So I stood massaging my thigh and see whether it can move. After awhile, someone got up to go out and they asked me to sit. The woman beside me said why don't I sue KTM. I was already in no mood and I just told her it's not worth it because it will take a really long time for the case to get solved due to our inefficient court system.

The rationale is like this...If I were to sue KTM I might win the case. It is their fault which caused the multiple delays which in turn caused all these pushings and resulted in me getting hurt. However, this is actually a trivial case(I did not suffer any broken bones though the pain is excruciating!) so the damages I might get is too little to cover any of my lawyer's cost, my time and so on! How much are they going to give me due to my pain and suffering? I did not even get medical help...

Perhaps if this happened to me when I'm a lawyer, I might pursue the suit because it's easier when I'm the one handling the case. But when I do become a lawyer I'll swear out KTM as my resort to go to work!! Like seriously!! No way in hell!!

So, the end result is me getting huge arts on my thighs...

Well, I can't walk properly without limping because the centre of my thigh hurt so much when I walk. I feel like an old lady now. I think I need a walking stick to help me in walking XD FML!!!

Damn you, KTM!!!!!! You make mine and other commuters' lives a living HELL!!

Maine perfume

A few years ago, my dad took my sister and me on a fall weekend trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. We stayed in a charming old B&B and made it our goal to eat lobster for every single meal, including lobster scrambled eggs, bisque, rolls, whole lobsters, and even a McDonald's McLobster...
Even though it rained almost the whole time, the trip was one of the best I've ever taken. So I was psyched to discover this Maine perfume. Wouldn't you love to smell its sea, air, sun, pine and grassy scent?

The socialite and famous Hollywood star, Paris Hilton appeared in court regarding a case against Hallmark. The Hallmark company made a card and Paris Hilton thought that her private life and public figure was great affected with that card that Hallmark made. paris Hilton demanded a good sum of money from the card company and the judge decided in favor to Paris Hilton. Paris Hilton stun all the people who attended the hearing in court as she dressed like a pro. Paris Hilton is still lovely even she has so many controversies.

Britney Spears on Glee Season 2 Episode 2 (2x2)

Britney Spears made a tv comeback on Glee Season 2 Episode 2 (S02e02)!entitled Britney/Brittany !And guess what? Her appearance was warmly received by fans as evidenced by the high rating of Glee S02e02 and "Britney Spears on Glee" making it in the top google trends as well as being one of the most talked about in twitter!

Regular Glee casts were thrilled to see Britney Spears on the show. Heather Morris, who plays Brittany admitted she was in awe of her co star. She said:

“I just sat there and stared at her. Like, ‘Wow, I’m just hanging out with Britney Spears as Brittany the character. We’re doing a scene. I’m singing her songs. It was weird.

“When I was younger she was, like, my idol. I am, like, literally an inch away from Britney Spears, who I used to watch on television and, like, learn dance moves to. … It’s Spearstacular.”

Naya Rivera, who plays Santana commented:  

“I love Britney Spears. I mean, who doesn’t? We all grew up with her. The first music purchase I ever made was ‘ Baby One More Time’ on cassette. It was like, Britney Spears is going to be in my mitts, what do I do? And I was like, ‘Hi Britney!’ And then she was like, ‘Hey!’ She was awesome and beautiful. She was magical.”

Michael Bolton Dancing With The Stars Elimination Video

 Michael Bolton says goodbye to Dancing with the Stars. Michael Bolton together with his partner Chelsie Hightower stepped their way out of Dancing with the Stars 2010 competition. Judge Bruno Tonioli made a very clear, a bit harsh statement that Michael Bolton's dancing days with Dancing with the Stars has ended when he said:

“You should take the bone and go back into the dog house,” said Tonioli. “You did it all very, very, very badly — this is the worst jive in 11 seasons.”

Michael Bolton did not react right away to the statement of Tonioli but later on commented that it was “inappropriate and disrespectful” of Tonioli to characterize his dancing as the worst ever. Well, you decide for yourself if Michael Bolton's performace is indeed the worst ever.. See the video.

It's been quite long since we've seen anything on Britney Spears, eh? Well, she's actually busy acting on Glee, that is! Yup, Glee's doing a whole Britney episode featuring her and her songs just like they did with a Madonna episode. Difference is that Madonna was not on Glee only her songs!

I can't wait to see that episode. I'm not really a follower of Glee but I do download episodes when there's a hyped up episode such as this.

No doubt I'm a fan of Britney ever since she bombarded the charts with Opps! I did it again, Hit me baby one more time and her many hits songs...

Then came her melt down, her head shaving, two children, a divorce and she bounced back with a new album. I still like her songs and she definitely has potential to be a huge star once again like her teen days because whenever Britney drops an album there'll be a lot hoo-haa just like this Glee episode.

I can't wait for her to make another album and see her guest starring in other TV shows. She actually did a small appearance in How I Met your Mother at one time and it was a huge hit among viewers! I just hope she doesn't have another melt down like Lindsay Lohan or get married and getting divorced again. She should stick to what she does best: music!
