At long last, renovations at the New York Public Library have been completed, and the locals are thrilled with the end result.
The three-year restoration project was a pain in the butt, for the most part, though.
New Yorkers are looking forward to the dust settling and the end of snarling traffic and ear-shattering noise that caused quite a few headaches daily in the thriving Metropolis also known as the "Big Apple".
The historic landmark building was erected in 1911 and stands at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street.
A rededication ceremony is slated for May 23rd!
However, in coming weeks, film producers are lining up to shine a little next to the dazzling architectural wonder.
For example, word out of Hollywood is that Matt Damon will celebrate the premiere of his new flick - The Adjustment - in coming weeks at the library.
See 'ya there!
