Las Vegas Justice Court...Violates Defendant rights! In conspiracy with Nevada Highway Patrol & NCO Financial Services!



The Las Vegas Justice Hall is in cahoots with the Nevada Highway Patrol, the Las Vegas Police Department, and NCO Financial Services.

The end result?

Defendant's rights are being violated daily at the Las Vegas Justice Hall - in downtown Las Vegas (Nevada) - for starters!

Notwithstanding, the Las Vegas Justice Hall has has also engaged in a outright conspiracy - with the Nevada Highway Patrol, the Las Vegas Police Department, and NCO Financial Services - in a deceitful illegal ploy to coerce unsuspecting (innocent) defendants into paying hefty fines (oftentimes not due) under the threat of prosectution.

To carry out the sinister shake-down - corrupt Judges and kow-towing employees in adminstration at the Las Vegas Justice Hall - have willfully and wrongfully denied defendants "Notice of Hearing" and the legal right to appear and argue a defense.

In sum, defendants have been denied their constitutional right to due process at the hands of rogue Law Enforcement Officers, immoral corrupt Judges, and dishonest administrative employees on the take at the Las Vegas Justice Hall.

Tattler readers may recall that I previously posted an expose on the Nevada Highway Patrol, in which I tossed a searing spotlight on the misconduct of State Troopers like Officer Del Padre (who routinely engages in illegal stops and harasses innocent motorists without provocation) and two of his superiors - Sergeant Charlex Haycox and Captain Tony Almaraz - who participated in a conspiracy to cover-up abuses under the color of authority and advance a bold-faced deceitful effort to mitigate Nevada Highway Patrol's liablity for damages.

Currently, there is a Tort Claim against Del Padre and the Nevada Highway Patrol, which seeks recovery of damages to compensate the injured parties for damages sustained during the course of the nefarious conduct and arising from the conspiracy to cover up the facts thereafter.

In the aftermath, I determined from evidence on file at the courthouse, that the Las Vegas Justice Court - not only hired disreputable collection agents to harass and threaten defendants - but also - enaged in a conspiracy to coerce defendants into coughing up exhorbitant fees and penalties without benefit of legal recourse which was their inalienable right under the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and pursuant to applicable State and Federal Statues.

In addition - Judges, employees of the Las Vegas Justice Hall, and their agents - NCO Financial Services - willfully stepped "over-the-line"(and broke the law) when they refused to follow the dictates of the Fair Credit Reporting Act - and in the process - denied consumer rights.

For example, defendants were not given proper notice of pending legal actions, or apprised of their rights.

Consequently, warrants were issued, and alleged fees and penalties due were reported in a cavalier illegal manner to three major credit reporting agencies which hurt their names, reputations, and credit worthiness in the community-at-large.

On the heels of these despicable illegal acts, the agents of the Las Vegas Justice Hall, proceeded to threaten and harass the defendants and peristed with illegal conduct in violation of their rights.

For the record, it should be noted that NCO Financial Services is a disreputable debt collection agency, that has not only been investigated in the past by the Government authorities for wrongdoing - but on the heels of the probe - ended up being slapped with staggering fines (levied by the Federal Trade Commission) to the whopping tune of $1.5 million.

By their mere assocation with NCO Financial Service, it appears that the Las Vegas Justice Hall condones their despicable illegal wrongful acts - and thus - have blood on their hands in the final analysis.

For the foregoing reasons, at least one wronged party has lodged a formal complaint with the FBI with a demand for a full investigation with the ultimate aim of prosecution to deter such reprehensible conduct (and willful violation of consumer rights) in the future.

In response, the Nevada Highway Patrol has chosen to remain silent, in a dishonest self-serving ploy to mitigate their damages.

How long will the cesspool of corruption continue at the Las Vegas Justice Hall?

Sahara Hotel & Casino...Las Vegas gambling joint to shut-down! Consumer alert warning!



The brief news snippet in the morning paper - reporting that the Sahara Hotel & Casino was closing its once-celebrated doors - didn't surprise me one iota!

Tattler readers may recall that I posted a consumer alert about the deceptive business practices at the Hotel last year, with the dire warning that they book lodgings elsewhere, to gurantee a fun-filled vacation frolic in the desert oasis free of headaches.

Film buffs will recall that in its glory days, producers for the successful feature - Ocean's Eleven - shot on location in the exotic environs of the Morocccan-themed resort situated at the end of the main strip in glitzy Las Vegas.

SBE Chief Executive officer Sam Nazarian (a Los Angeles-based hospitality and entertainment group and Stockbridge) snapped up the Sahara in 2007 and vowed to invigorate the sagging investment property.

But now, it appears that the ailing Hotel will slip into obscurity when it is shut down in May.

No doubt, the ghosts of the rack pack (Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr.) will continue to haunt the premises 'til then.

Poor quality food, over-priced rooms - and a failure to keep up with the heartbeat of "Sin City" - spelled doom (as I predicted many moons ago).

I trust the place will be imploded, sit empty for a year or two, or be revamped by ambitious optimistic investors with money to burn somewhere down the long-and-winding road.

Cosmopolitan Hotel...Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kanye West attend Grand Opening!

In December I reported on the dazzling two-storey Cosmopolitan Hotel which threw open its doors amidst a lot of hoopla and on the edge of tough economic times still holding strong around the country.

In spite of a lot of tourist belt-tightening this past year - and the inclination of many to book into accommodations where bargain prices currently prevail - the Cosmopolitan managed to lure in a posse of show-biz luminaries for the Grand Opening which proved to be quite a shot in the arm for the non-Vegas-style establishment (backed by German financiers) out to carve a special niche in the ever-popular desert oasis

Regular Hotel guests rubbed shoulders with high-profile celebs like bodacious babe Beyonce, bad girl Rihanna, TV Idol Judge Jennifer Lopez (with low-key hubby Marc Anthony in tow), Markie Mark (oooops! Mark Wahlberg rather), charismatic actress Cameron Diaz, and Ashley Owen (to name a trendy few).

Oh, it almost slipped my mind!

Gwyneth Paltrow floated in (Country Strong) with kiddies Apple and Moses (!) in tow.

Jet-setters - with an ear for eclectic music - also flew in to catch Kanye West in concert at the hot spot revving up on the main strip these days.

Coldplay (Gwyneth's main squeeze is the lead singer) was also booked in to the visually-stunning environs to the delight of fans!

I predict the Cosmopolitan is going to take off in a big way in 2011.

The ever-popular - at-times terribly scandalous Pop Icon Lady Gaga - will saunter onto the world stage as a permanent fixture at Madame Tussaud's Museum this weekend.

In fact, her sculpted wax figure will be trotted out across the globe from the exotic far-east climbs of Hong Kong to the glitzy Las Vegas strip.

At press time, there hasn't been a whiff of insider scoop, on the fashionable threads that will ultimately grace the Monster Queen's luscious bod, though.

Cosmopolitan Hotel...non-Vegas-style luxury digs! December 15 blow-out opening!

In spite of a couple of stalled Hotel projects and a glut of empty rooms on the glitzy strip, the owners of the tony Cosmopolitan - slated to throw open its doors on December 15th - remain pretty optimistic about their ability to compete.

According to the German Bankers that are funding the project - "standing out" - will be the key to their success in the high-stakes realm of Hotels & Gambling Casinos in the desert Oasis.

"Polish without pretense," is how management is describing the "Cosmopolitan" experience.

For starters, guests will be shielded from all that is usually gauche in Sin City.

In fact, at the Cosmo, the world-weary traveller won't be forced to traipse through a tunnel-full of tacky casinos in order to check into their suites at the upscale respite from it all.

Elevators are located a few feet away from the front desk - for example - ready to whisk their pampered charges to their reasonably-priced digs above.

City rooms, studios, and premiere suites - unlike most Vegas Hotels - also boast furnished balconies six-feet deep (that run the length of the space in about seventy-five percent of the rooms) so that the savvy traveller has more leg room (if you get my drift).

All accomodations are sparked up with eye-catching fixtures - a state-of-the-art flat screen TV - and a dizzying array of digital technologies sure to keep even the most active Silicon Valley dude thrilled.

The interior design by David Rockwell is liveable yet hip.

For those who are keen on being ever-mindful about the time of day - a three-tiered bar affords the opportunity to sip on an exotic cocktail - while checking out the action on the electric Vegas Strip outside.

In essence - the Casino "Cocoon"- has gone by the way of the dinosuar!

Ah - there is a breath of fresh air on the Hotel trail - in Vegas now!

The developers have also managed to offer up a dream venue inside expected to be a blast from the get-go.

For example, inside two twin towers, there are a dozen fantasy setttings to become totally immersed in by way of eight video columns which offer up a myriad of fantasy adventures throughout a 24-hour cyle!

Just pick one, dudes!

Take a rustic walk in the park on a fall day - where gold and crimson leaves flutter by at arm's reach - or saunter into a cascade of frothy bubbles for a sensual bathing of the senses!

The Hoteliers intend to lure in the music crowd , too.

At press time the Cosmopolitan staff noted that they are going to be unveiling the perfect DJ booth expected to attract big headliners in the biz.

In what is described as a restauarant neighborhood, hungry foodies with discerning tastebuds will have 8 eateries to choose from (a Manhattan-style pizzeria & a pricey Greek Restaurant, for instance).

In an adjoining neighborhood, rotating artists will be exhibiting their artistic creations, which should lend an artsy-fartsy atmosphere to the environs.

For the opening night blow out, rooms are expected to garner $300 a pop.

But, in the days that follow, a regular Hotel suite will be cost 'ya just $135.00 nightly.

Jane Lynch...star busting into stratosphere! Deserving success...

Jane Lynch rockets to success!

Jane Lynch is a tall, imposing woman in person, who commands attention.

The first time I crossed paths with the GLEE star was at the CineVegas Film Festival a couple of years ago on the frenzied red carpet for "The Rocker" premiere in the heart of the desert oasis.

Although Ms Lynch’s acting career was not soaring into the stratosphere at that time, it was evident under the intense glare of the spotlight, that the charismatic actress had that indefinable something - the “it” factor - that is a prerequisite in the topsy-turvy entertainment business.

I was also impressed by her down-to-earth unpretentious manner.

What you see, is what you get.

The actress - who has met with considerable success since then -  this year in particular - offered up some great advice for performers stomping at the bit to break into the lofty realms of stardom.

“Just ‘do’,” she responded, when I asked her to offer up a few ingredients to acting success.

“Take an acting class. Get in a play. 'Do'  as much as possible,” she stressed above all else, as a posse of reporters (who hung on every word) scribbled down the quote in their notebooks.

A couple of he paparazzi on hand - turned their searing lenses in her direction - to capture the charismatic performer on tape (and for posterity's sake, no doubt).

When I reflect on that moment, I suddenly realize, Ms. Lynch was definitely in her element and inclined to soak up the entire heady high-energy experience because she was "ready" to make her grand entrance onto the world stage.

Appearances on Saturday Night Live, and a stint on Glee, are just icing on the cake at this juncture.
She’ll be making a lasting contribution in the industry- mark my words - in the next year or two.

Talented actress honored with likeness at Madame Tussaud's!

Ann Margaret...CSI guest star! Elvis dance partner going strong!

Did ever wonder what happened to sex kitten Ann Margaret?

The stunning beauty - a sizzling sexy dance partner of the late-great Elvis Presley (brief romantic fling?) - just wrapped up a stint on CSI after years of steering clear of the glaring spotlight.

Film buffs will recall that Ms. Margaret starred opposite Elvis in Viva Las Vegas.

The classic movie is regarded by many as one of Presley's best movies, which was attributed to the strong screen attraction between the "King" and leading lady Ann Margaret.

The box-office hit - which boasted ten extravagant musical numbers, was posted at No. 11 in the Top 20 Movie Box Office offerings of 1964.

The breathy star always remained respectful of “El” - even after he passed to spirit - and never tried to capitalize on her relationship (in-front-of or behind the cameras) with the King (unlike the other hangers-on in the inner circle).

In fact, in her own memoirs, Ms. Margaret referred to Elvis as her "soul mate".

The legendary hip-swiveller was quite fond of the gorgeous Ms. Margaret, too.

No wonder!

Ms. Margaret has always been a class act.

Fans may recall that the fifty’s triple threat (dancer/singer/actress) was unexpectedly sidelined for a short period because of a serious injury she suffered due to a terrible stage accident which broke a few bones and shook her up somewhat.

On Sunday, September 10 (1972) while performing at Lake Tahoe, the legend fell 22 feet from an elevated platform to the stage and suffered a broken left arm, cheekbone and jawbone.

At the UCLA treatment center in Los Angeles, the star received meticulous reconstructive surgery to her face that required wiring her mouth shut and putting her on a liquid diet.

The dazzling talent was unable to work for ten weeks, but ultimately - trooper that she was - managed to return to work shortly after that to continue her contractual commitments.

Needless to say, the pretty star was valiant through it all.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the stunning beauty.

Ann-Margaret established her “acting chops” to serious critics in a break-out role in "52 Pick Up" starring opposite Roy Scheider.

It's a role worth catching on film today, if you’re a big Ann-Margaret fan.

Actor John Glover put it succinctly when he quipped of Margaret’s character in the flick:

“She’s still got a lot of good mileage on her.”

That appears to apply today, as the ET interview proved this week, when she chatted up the host about her acting gig on CSI.

In spite of Entertainment Tonight’s sly effort to get up-close - and surreptitiously establish whether the star may have had plastic surgery in recent days - Ms. Margaret held up well under close scrutiny.

If Joan Rivers is a poster woman for what can go wrong under the knife, Ms. Margaret is an example of what a surgeon - with expert skilled hands - can accomplish.

Ann-Margret was born in Stockholm, but spent her childhood years in Valsjöbyn, a small rural locale she described as a small town of lumberjacks and farmers.

Ann-Margret moved to the United States in November 1946 with her mother and father.

They settled just outside of Chicago in Wilmette (Illinois).

Ms. Margaret showed great dance ability when she first took lessons at the Marjorie Young School of Dance, and so, her supportive parents helped nudge her in that direction.

In 1961, she was invited to take a screen test at 20th Century Fox and was subsequently signed to a seven-year contract.

Ann-Margret made her film debut in "Pocketful of Miracles" starring opposite with Bette Davis and directed by Frank Capra.

There was no looking back for Ann-Margaret!

Miss Margaret married her long-time Business Manager - Roger Smith - and the two have savored a lasting romantic relationship.

They have cut a fine swath together at appearances around Tinsel Town over the years.

In recent years, the aging beauty has been a bit reclusive, so it was a joy to catch clips of her upcoming stint on the highly-rated drama show - CSI - in which she plays a philanthropist who is stalked by a maniac.

Insanity Skyride at LAs Vegas

Insane ride at the top of the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas. Dangling over the edge of the hotel, 900 feet in the air, over The Strip. Nothing but pavement below!
